Opinòmetre was founded in Barcelona in 1992 by Josep Ribó Santacreu, with the aim of creating a distinctive company in the field of opinion measurement and applied research. From its first offices in Barcelona, Opinòmetre has evolved and adapted to constant technological, methodological and social changes, expanding its scope of activity to the international level. Notable milestones in our history include becoming the uninterrupted provider of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor in Spain since 2001, and the successive accreditations by the CEO, the Barcelona Provincial Council and Barcelona City Council.
Institut Opinòmetre is made up of a committed, top-level multidisciplinary team. Our team is made up of more than 100 professionals, including technical staff, analysts and fieldwork teams. We have specialists in: Statistics and data science | Sociology | Political science | Economics and business sciences | Geography and environmental sciences. We have our own team of field agents specialised in telephone and face-to-face surveys.
