Employment at Catalan start-ups grows by 20% in one year

Data presented by ACCIÓ, the Government of Catalonia’s agency for business competitiveness, confirm the findings published in the GEM study (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor), conducted by Institut Opinòmetre. According to these figures, Catalonia’s 1,300 start-ups employ 13,820 people, 18% more than in the previous year. Employment at Catalan start-ups has grown by 20% in one year. Catalonia also has an increasing number of repeat entrepreneurs.
