Presentation of the book ‘Spanish Healthcare in Figures’
Círculo de la Sanidad and the Gaspar Casal Foundation are presenting ‘La Sanidad española en cifras 2018’ (‘Spanish Healthcare in Figures 2018’) at the Ministry of Health. This biannual report sets out the main indicators describing the healthcare system’s performance and outcomes. Dr Alicia Coduras, a researcher at Institut Opinòmetre, contributed as the book’s coordinator.
Institut Opinòmetre participates in GEM
The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) is a research project that has been running for 20 years. Its aim is to collect data on entrepreneurial activity worldwide through an extensive international network currently spanning more than 49 countries, making the report a global reference in the study of entrepreneurship.
Institut Opinòmetre conducts the Tourism Perception Survey in Barcelona
The study aims to understand Barcelona residents’ opinions of tourism in the city. Its target population is Barcelona residents aged 18 and over. The methodology consists of computer-assisted face-to-face interviews in respondents’ homes (CAPI).
Special Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PEMUS), Málaga, 2018
Between October and December 2018, Málaga City Council conducted 30,000 surveys of pedestrians, drivers, cyclists, public transport users and tourists to develop a model of the city’s mobility using simulation software.
Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS) in Oliva
During the fourth quarter of 2018, Institut Opinòmetre carried out the fieldwork needed to prepare the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS) for Oliva City Council. This work continued an initial phase conducted in July.

Institut Opinòmetre conducts the CEO’s 2018 Political Opinion Barometer
The third wave of the 2018 Political Opinion Barometer from the Centre d’Estudis d’Opinió, conducted by Institut Opinòmetre, is now available. The study used computer-assisted face-to-face interviews in respondents’ homes (CAPI methodology). The sample comprised 1,500 people from 80 municipalities and 177 census tracts, interviewed between 22 October and 12 November 2018.
